There’s recently been a trend of scammers trying to defraud people by impersonating LocalMonero staff in the trade chat and by sending emails from a spoofed LocalMonero email address that tell you to release the coins in the trade.

LocalMonero would never tell you to release the coins. All dispute-related communication is always conducted in the trade chat and admin messages in the chat always have a red background.
